Reighton Gap
Reighton Beach is within walking distance from us and can be accessed by heading straight down our track, crossing over the road and heading down the steps between the carpark and the houses at the end of the road or you can follow the coastal path along the cliff top to Hunmanby Gap beach where there is a lovely little beach café. Along the beach you can walk the 5 miles into Filey. Reighton Beach is dog friendly all year round.
You can walk into Reighton village where there is The Dotterel pub. Check with them for opening times 01723 892860.
There are several walking routes right on our doorstep with access to the new coastal path at the top of our field leading you to Bempton Cliffs and beyond.

Flamborough Head
11 Miles
Flamborough Head is home to Flamborough lighthouse and is great place to spot a variety of wildlife from seals to nesting puffins. We recommend visiting the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust website for more information on what to see and when.
Bempton Cliffs
7 miles
Bempton Cliffs is home to around half a million sea birds between March and October including Gannets, Guillemots and Puffins. You can get to Bemton on front from our site by following the coastal path.
We recommend looking at the RSPB website to find out what to see and when.

Parking in Filey council car parks is free from 1st November to 28th Febuary.

Bridlington also has a selection of supermarkets and shops. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafes and fish and chip shops. The North Beach has a selection of fairground rides, along the promenade there is a variety of arcades, ice cream stands and fish & chip and burger stalls, Pavillion Bar is located between the rides serving food with a sea view and a soft play area. Bridlington Harbour has several boat trips to hop on board, coffee and donut stalls, fish and chips and ice cream stands. Bridlington South Beach has an open air paddling pool and donkey rides. Some areas of Bridlington Beach have dog restrictions in place on the north and south side between 1st May and 30th September. There is a park and ride service as well as two land trains.

Scarborough has plenty of supermarkets and the town centre has a variety of shops and The Brunswick Shopping Centre. There's a large variety of places to eat, fish & chip shops, ice cream shops including the famous Harbour Bar, donut stalls and fresh seafood stands. The seafront also has a mini golf course, donkey rides, a funfair, arcades and bowling. The Esplanade is full of historical architecture and has a stunning view of the harbour. The Harbour offers boat rides and is a great place to sit and watch the world. Scarborough has a park and ride service running from 1st April to the end of October. The North and South Bay beaches have dog restrictions in place 1st may to 30th September.
