Gladys

Gladys is our converted double decker bus providing self catering, glamping accommodation for 5. Set back in a wooded cove of the field on our family farm with views out to open countryside she provides the perfect place for a quirky family break.
 

To the ground floor she has

Wood burning stove with complementary basket of logs

-Kitchen with gas cooker, fridge freezer, stove kettle, all crockery and cooking utensils 

-Shower room accessed via the original fire exit door

-TV/DVD player (no aerial or wifi, suitable for DVD playing only,)

-Original bus features including driving seat and bus lighting

-5 AMP plug sockets

 

To the first floor she sleeps 5 with

-Double bedroom to the rear

-Double cupboard bed to the front

-Single cabin bed

- All bedding and blankets

- 2 single wardrobes 

- Large fan

- 2 x USB charging points

Outside she has

-Charcoal BBQ

-Picnic bench with parasol

- Deck chairs

Gladys has a wood fired soaking tub which provides the perfect place to relax whilst taking in the view of the field.

After your journey just light the wood burner and pour yourself a drink whilst the water heats, this takes between 1 to 2 hours depending on how hot you burn the stove, once your tub is up to temp just stir with the giant paddle and sink into the relaxing warm water. When you're done simply pop on the lid and then it will take less heating time when you're ready to get back in. Its a truly special experience creating the fire that heats your tub.

We can accommodate one infant under 2 free of charge and provide travel cot and high chair, please select it as an option when booking.

She is a minimum 2 night stay in low season, 3 nights for bank holidays and available on a short break basis of Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday during school holidays.
